Toronto Hindu South Asian Wedding Video in Mississauga
Love knows no boundaries and distance. Just how far someone is willing to go to find that special someone to make them whole is a testament to how much they yearn for love and happiness. We here at SDE weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photobooth company know that inclination and feeling all too well. This is the story of Ami and Ravin’s big day. Ravin ventured off into the states in search of love. There he found his one true love Ami. The couple travelled all the way from the states back to Canada to have their Hindu south Asian wedding here in the heart of Mississauga on May 24th, 2015.
At the first sign of light at dawn, the couple and our eager Toronto wedding videographer and cinematographer went straight to work to help make this the most memorable wedding ever for Ami and Ravin. The bride started off her day getting her hair and makeup done and was ecstatic to put on her fabulous looking wedding dress. It was a beautiful traditional Indian lehenga choli with a white and red blend mixed in with gold and crystal shining rhinestone beadworks. The groom had brought with him a beige kurta outfit, matched with a solid read turban head piece attached with jewelry to symbolize his traditional Toronto Hindu wedding roots on his wedding day.
The exquisite creative talents of our Toronto videographer and cinematographer were able to create this perfect scene on film of the bride slowly making her way across the bridge at Kariya Park, to reunite with her soul mate as they embraced each other. The tranquil and peaceful ambience of the park was the perfect location to shoot this lovely scene. To make this an even more memorable film and photoshoot at Kariya Park, the bridesmaids and groomsmen also wore contrasting wedding outfits to emphasize two worlds coming together. Have a look at this highlight video to see this amazing setup.
The groom sure did know how to make a grand entrance, as he rode in on a beautiful white horse covered in traditional Indian finery with his crew at the Baraat. It was a spectacle to be marvelled at, as all the guests made their way to the wedding ceremony, singing and dancing to the sound of music at the Mississauga Convention Centre.
Inside at the wedding ceremony, we were greeted by an alluring display of décor that included an attractive looking white carpet covered with red rose petals, a wedding mandap in the center that was decorated with crystal clear candle holders, and a series of white flower boutiques.
Our videographer and cinematographer were lucky to have had the opportunity to capture that magical playful demeanor that was present between Ami and Ravin during the garland exchange, where the couple played around with the garlands before finally placing it over each other to symbolize the beginning of a new life together. As the newlyweds made their way out of the wedding ceremony as husband and wife, the crowd roared with applause as they sprinkled Ami and Ravin with rose petals, as you can see in our same day edit below.
At the reception, the couple showcased a beautiful wedding cake decorated with a plethora of purple flowers during the cake cutting ceremony. The perfect piece to match this perfect Hindu wedding.
Family and friends were kept entertained by a series of mesmerizing traditional Hindu dances performed by a talented cast of dancers, as well as a photobooth setup by SDE weddings to help guests remember this special day.
To finish the festivities off, the bride and groom had a little fun when the groom’s shoes were stolen and later exchanged for money, a wedding tradition passed down from generations. As the Vidai ceremony (bride bidding farewell) came to a conclusion, we couldn’t help but feel intense emotions as the bride said her final goodbyes to her family to begin a new life with her companion.
Here are our the photo booth photos from the evening.
After all was said and done, We here at SDE weddings, Toronto’s premier videography, cinematography, and photobooth company wish Ami and Ravin a wonderful life together, full of many fond memories and happiness.
