There’s something deeply magical and beautiful in every wedding day, and for us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and photo booth rental company, it’s an absolute pleasure for our videographers to capture these magical and beautiful memories in full. From the first few moments of the morning’s preparations, to the exhilarating ending to a long evening’s celebrations, our videographers find passion in a couple’s passion; love in a newlywed’s love, happiness in two lives happily made one. So for our video team, the story of Lorraine & Tim and wondrous winter wedding day on a frosty February 17th, 2018 was an absolute delight to film through the lenses of our videographers. A young and inspiring couple from Toronto who met as volunteers at Toronto’s Sanctuary Ministries, found a common calling in their faith and devotion towards others, and indeed, devotion to one another. Hosting their wonderful wedding day ceremony at Toronto’s beautiful Metropolitan United Church, and their evening’s reception at the ever-elegant 1871 Berkeley Church, Lorraine & Tim’s faith and love on their very special day would be a true gift for them, bringing the two together on such a special day in their lives. So follow us as we remember the many special scenes and magical memories captured by our filmmakers on Lorraine & Tim’s faithful wedding day, and be amazed at how a story of faith, hope, charity, and love can blossom beautifully on a wondrous winter’s day.
For us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photo-booth group, the perfect smile, the perfect moment, captured perfectly for a perfect couple is the most our videographers and cinematographers strive for in our work. And in this wonderful winter season, nothing can dispel the briskness of Canada’s famous winter cold better than the warmth of a perfect love brought together for a beautiful winter-season wedding day. Such is how our videographers and cinematographers recall the magnificent and magical time we had working with Ying & Darryl on their breathtakingly perfect winter-season wedding day just earlier this year on January 13th, 2018, with a magical wedding day ceremony, reception, and celebration held at the beautiful Bellvue Manor in Vaughan, and early morning preparations and traditional ceremonies held at the ever-gorgeous Adelaide Hotel Toronto, site of the former Trump Hotel. A lovely Chinese couple, Ying & Darryl showcased on their wedding day their shared Chinese heritage in a solemn and traditional tea ceremony, a favourite scene for our videographers and cinematographers. So warm yourselves up and join us as we recall some of our most cherished and prized memories from our videographers and cinematographers in capturing Ying & Darryl’s truly wonderful winter-season wedding day. Alongside a showcase of our videographers and cinematographers’ favourite scenes from the couple’s special day, and a specially made preview of the unforgettable wedding celebration in our included namesake same-day-edit highlight reel.
The glistening frostings of freshly melted snow, an atmosphere of serenity and a moment of seclusion wrapped within an opportune time, on a magical day in the midst of Canada’s famously frigid winter season. Such is how we felt here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, when we worked on Lorrene & Darvy’s beautiful winter season wedding just this past December 29th, 2016 – only a few days shy of Christmas, during the serendipitous period between the Christmas season and New Year’s Eve. And for Lorrene & Darvy, their wedding day would be a truly magical memory in and of itself; with preparations and early celebrations taking place at the Delta Hotels in Scarborough, a very personal wedding ceremony at Scarborough’s St. Maria Goretti Parish, and finishing off fantastically in Toronto’s Fantasy Farm, a beautiful getaway location deep in the heartlands of Toronto’s famous Don Valley, and a perfect locale for some excellent scenes for our videographers and cinematographers to work with. We also had the opportunity to bring our photo booth to the reception to entertain Lorrene & Darvy’s guest.
It was “once upon a time,” or rather just earlier this year, when our best and brightest here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, took part in an unforgettable and truly unique photo-shoot event. Creating a special little style-piece for the esteemed online wedding magazine WedLuxe, our most talented videographers were overjoyed to work alongside wedding photographer Samantha Ong and Toronto wedding planner Rainbow Chan to bring together a fairytale-themed style shoot titled “Once upon a time.” As tales as old as time, and songs as old as rhyme would have you know, fairytales fondly found from our childhood have left an unbreakable and unshakeable impression on our collective mind. That’s why it was an absolute ‘fairytale’ in itself for our videographers to play a part in the production of such a fantastical and magical piece of art, an homage to the many brilliant works of fiction which made our childhoods all the more brighter.
