For us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth rental group, the start of a brand new year is always the most tumultuous, uncertain yet exciting time. With new horizons ahead and a fresh new start, the beginning of a new year is the best time as ever to create new plans, explore new things and look forward to the future. So when we worked with Jayran & Simon on their early-season wedding day just this past January 23rd, 2016, we knew from the start that such a spirited young couple would have nothing but the brightest of futures to look forward to. With a beautiful Orthodox Christian wedding ceremony at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Richmond Hill – just north of Toronto – and a likewise wonderful wedding celebration held at The Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre in Vaughan, an eager couple starting their lives anew through wedding vows couldn’t ask for anything better! Jayran & Simon’s wedding was special for our videographers and cinematographers as well. Apart from an opportunity to shoot beautiful snowy scenes during the peak of Canada’s characteristically cold winters, our videographers and cinematographers had taken the opportunity to make clever and creative use of SDE Weddings’ very own drone cameras to film gorgeously breathtaking panoramic scenes as we trailed Jayran & Simon throughout their winter Armenian wedding day. So scroll further to learn more about Jayran & Simon, their wonderful Armenian wedding in a winter wonderland, and take a peak at our highlight footage from chilling heights!

Cheryl & Duane’s wedding gathering and celebration just this weekend on November 1st, 2014 at the gorgeous Venetian Banquet Centre in Vaughan was a sight to behold for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group. Mostly through witnessing how our creative collaboration with Cheryl & Duane to make their perfect wedding day photobooth layout and experience came to full fruition to make an unforgettable night for the couple and their guests. A custom design for Cheryl & Duane’s photobooth printout was made in advance by our graphics design specialists, who used a handy layout based on Cheryl & Duane’s invitation cards which were sent to their guests prior. An excellent design choice that ties in the initial surprise of an invitation, with the final experience of the wedding’s jovial after-ceremony celebration with a photobooth printout. All together, we offered two different printing profiles for Cheryl & Duane, one specifically for the cocktail reception and the other to suit the rest of the evening’s celebration. A perfect arrangement for those who want a simple wedding day memorabilia, to those who want a bit more prop-fueled flavour to their festivities. To yet invoke a curious running theme, for those who’ve followed our various photobooth escapades, we had met Cheryl & Duane just a few months prior on August 8th, 2014 through our work with a previous couple, Sherry & Shawn, whose wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth we had adamantly provided. In the end, our photobooth experts aren’t ones to disappoint, providing a full five hour photobooth service for Cheryl & Duane’s guests till well into the evening. Judging from the preview photos below, you can see just how much fun everyone had. No surprise for us, of course. We’ve had plenty of practice.
“Happy first day of the rest of our lives”, a line that is both lovely and curiously profound, shared by Sam to his beloved Jennifer in a letter addressed on the morning of their wedding day, runs deep into what makes and motivates our work here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s top wedding videography and cinematography company. There’s something deeply endearing in sharing in a couples’ “first day” of their lives, a day that ushers in an entire timeline of future memories that they’ll face and experience hand-in-hand together. Simply being there and witnessing the formation and foundation of a life shared as one is something that is immensely humbling for us as videographers and cinematographers; and for anyone who experiences it, it is truly a moment that’s impossible to take for granted. For Sam and Jennifer, the day on which the first page of their storybook lives sprung serendipitously to life was on a bright and blossoming spring saturday on May 24, 2014. Amidst a bustling crowd of family, friends and well-wishers in attent to witness the flower of Jennifer and Sam’s love to finally unfurl and blossom anew. The couples’ holy vows and priestly blessings took place in Scarborough’s Chinese Baptist Church, with a lovely evening reception in The Venetian Banquet Centre in Vaughan to wrap up the first gripping paragraph of Jennifer and Sam’s story.
