“Let’s get to the church, would ya?” – a bit blunt, a bit informal, but every bit beautiful. A contrast which is ever inspiring for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group. A subtle take-away message from our work with Kimberly & Paul, an entrepreneurial couple from Mississauga at the prime of their lives, whose wedding our videographers and cinematographers took part in just this previous October 4th, 2014 at a wedding ceremony held at Toronto’s historical St. Paul’s Basilica, hand-in-hand with an unforgettable reception and celebration at one of our videographers’ and cinematographers’ favoured scenic getaways, Toronto’s very own St. Lawrence Hall. Indeed, Kimberly & Paul’s wedding – and their lives together – emboldens a beautiful contrast: Paul, a manager at Deloitte, and Kim, a specialist in HR, though fastidious and formal in their work, exude a joyful playfulness between them that’s enough to make any hopeless romantic’s heart melt twice-over. So it was up to our videographers and cinematographers to catch, capture and convey this charming quality between the pair, and suffice to say, Kimberly & Paul – through their heartfelt emotions and efervescent character, made it far too easy a task. And in keeping true to the theme of playfulness, Kimberly & Paul had also arranged for our very own photobooth service for their after-ceremony celebration shenanigans. Scroll further to learn more about Kimberly & Paul’s most special of days, a preview of the wedding day’s events in our highlight reel, and more from our videographers and cinematographers on their favorite scenes and what the experience was like to work with such a lively and charmistatic couple on such a hallmark event in their lives.
We here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography group, believe in the old proverb of ‘beauty in simplicity’. Sometimes, simply cutting through the ornate and ostentatious reveals an austere beauty that is often overlooked, whether through a videographer’s lenses or in the memory of a mind’s eye. A couples’ first smile shared after the sharing of vows, the telling gestures of a nervous groom as he fixes on his wedding day wardrobe, the slow procession down the aisle and the obstinate anticipation for what awaits ahead. All these simple yet profound scenes were part and parcel during our work with Maria & Alessandro on the auspicious occasion of their wedding day just this past October 18th, 2014 at Mississauga’s St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with a ‘grand’ reception aptly set in the Embassy Grand Convention Centre in Brampton. Needless to say, Maria & Alessandro’s wedding day ceremony and celebration stood out for our videographers and cinematographers as an opportune event in showcasing their ability to create and capture the lasting beauty of a wedding day, in all of its perfect details, through full-day footage filming and in our signature Same-Day-Edit service for screening at the couples’ reception. Have a glance at the highlight reel our videographers and cinematographers prepared for Maria & Alessandro, which you can find below, and read more about our crew’s wonderful experience in filming Maria & Alessandro’s unforgettable wedding day.

Life truly is full of surprises. Such a mantra has become a running theme for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group. And in no other wedding have we witnessed ‘surprise’ on a grander scale as was our experience with Ellie & Matt, on their surprise wedding which took place this previous Autumn season, on a memorable October 18th, 2014 in Beamsville, Ontario. Ellie & Matt, a couple with a creative streak in their senses, had planned out an elusive surprise for their aptly prepared DIY-themed wedding day, to the delight of our videographers and cinematographers, whose lenses were present to capture every moment of suspense from their guests. Indeed, Ellie & Matt’s wedding day – from filming, preparation and editing – was one of the most creative projects our videographers and cinematographers have come across. Between filming an early morning time-lapse which outlines the events of the day, to the intricacies of how the couples’ -surprise- wedding would unfold, to the overall DIY aesthetic of their wedding, Ellie & Matt’s penchant for craftiness and creativity stood out to our videographers and cinematographers as something we rarely encounter, and something truly worthy of praise. Scroll further and be ‘surprised’ at just how perfect Ellie & Matt’s surprise wedding had turned out, and the many surprises which we encountered on such an unforgettable wedding day.
Nothing says “I love you” more than saying it twice. A reaffirmation of love, halfway across the world, is what sets off the story of Dunja & David, a Serbian-Canadian couple whose second-wedding ceremony we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography group, had helped film. In a humble gathering between Dunja & David’s closest family and friends, the young couple had hosted their ‘second’ wedding earlier this year on October 19th, 2014, with a ceremony and celebration both set at the beautiful Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex on Toronto’s lake-shore. The two had wed previously overseas, but had decided to perform the resplendent rites just once more for the couples’ family and friends here in Toronto. In our videographers’ and cinematographers’ work with the couple, one can witness just how close Dunja & David’s amorous coil of friendship and faithfulness as a couple had been entwined, their twin fates woven into one another, making for many special scenes captured by our videographers, and featured in the following highlight reel below. Scroll further to learn more about Dunja & David, their wondrous wedding event, and just how beautiful a love-stated-twice can truly be.
We here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography company, were more than excited when Diane & Anthony came to us to help film their engagement video, which took place just this past October 16th, 2014 on a bright autumn afternoon of filming in Toronto’s famous Kensington Market. However, let us go back four years, where a chance meeting through mutual friends begins the story of Diane & Anthony, a young Filipino couple whose common backgrounds and professions would be the catalyst for their memorable meeting and the bedrock of a relationship soon to blossom. Funny how fate has its ways of pairing a perfect couple together in its strange and serendipitous way.
The notion of ‘love at first sight’ and ‘the perfect match’ in this day and age, for some, might be a far-fetched idea only found on the silver-screen. Not for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography group, whose belief in ‘true love’ had only been affirmed even further through our meeting with Liz & Antoine, a Toronto couple who chose our services for their engagement video filmed just this past month on October 22nd, 2014. This chosen day was particularly special for the two, and for good reason. Since Liz & Antoine had met at this very same haunting time of the year, at a Halloween party. In the exclusive engagement video below, you can watch Antoine laughingly retelling the story of how they had met and the start of their very own fairytale, aptly enough, with Liz dressed in full ‘fairy’ fashion.
It’s never an inopportune time to get your creative juices flowing, as we surely soon found out during our photobooth service at Joanne and Shaun’s lovely wedding ceremony and celebration just this past October 12th, 2014 at Woodbridge’s luxurious Chateau Le Jardin Conference & Event Venue. Joanne, being a connoisseur of craftiness and creativity, had fashioned some unique guest and scrapbooks specially made for our photobooth printouts. A well commended added touch! Interestingly enough, Joanne had initially met us with our work with Tommy & Kathleen on their wedding just last November, and was undoubtedly enamoured with the idea of having a photobooth experience for her very own wedding, and had us booked alongside their friends David and Adriana, who’s wedding we had worked on just this past August. Funny how these social networks work, huh. And in another case of deja-vu (a repeating theme for our photobooth staff it seems), we met Tommy and Kathleen again during Joanne and Shaun’s wedding reception, and were happily expecting a baby girl. How wonderful! All in all, with a custom-designed photobooth printout design, and a much appreciated added boost from Joanne’s artistic efforts, the photobooth for Joanne and Shaun’s wedding was a smashing success. Feel free to preview some of our favorite snapshots in the sample pictures below.
Who wouldn’t appreciate getting a ‘red-carpet’ gala for their event? Not to mention, a red-carpet treatment at your very own wedding. That’s why it’s no small feat for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, to provide a full ‘red-carpet’ experience for Jung-Yoon and Matthew on their wedding day which took place a few weeks ago on Saturday, October 11th 2014 at Markham’s Le Parc Dining & Banquet Hall. Jung-Yoon and Matthew found us on weddingful.com and had asked us for our photobooth service for the full reception time, which was the entire afternoon. A rather rare request, but well appreciated, and one which made for plenty of fantastic personal pictures and even sillier snapshots between Jung-Yoon and Matthew’s family and friends to commemorate their unforgettable wedding day. From the numerous preview photos below, it’s no surprise that everyone, both young and old, can appreciate how much fun and excitement a photobooth experience can be. October is upon us, and we all know what that means; apart from an eventual unsavoury visit to the dentist, it is of course Halloween season. A time for those of us who’ve long outgrown our worn-out grade school costumes to relive those youthful days of trick-or-treat, silly shenanigans and never-ending fun. That’s why we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group were more than delighted to bring an early teaser of that festive Halloween feel in our photobooth service specially made for Amie and Jimmy on their special wedding day set on October 3rd, 2014 at Toronto’s ever gorgeous Atlantis Pavilion; this time marking our third event at the esteemed venue. From a cursory glance at a few of the preview photographs below, Amie and Jimmy’s guests certainly have no trouble fitting themselves into the festive fold, in celebrating Amie and Jimmy’s monumental step into marriage with a touch of homely Halloween hijinx care of the plentiful props, masks and costumes our photobooth providers have at their disposal. Have a gander at the more ‘ghoulish’ get-ups we ran into at Amie and Jimmy’s photobooth with a few more preview photos below.
The feeling of being “on top of the world” is one of the things in life worth treasuring. It comes then as no surprise for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography company, to witness Monica & George reach one of life’s proverbial pinnacles, that of their long-awaited Egyptian wedding ceremony. Indeed, the incommensurable feeling of elation and celebration familiar with many of life’s turning points is undoubtedly a lifetime’s treasure unto itself. So for our videographers and cinematographers, it was a feeling beyond simple satisfaction when taking part in the capturing and documenting the many memorable moments of Monica & George’s extraordinary day, which took place just this past October 5th, 2014 at Mississauga’s ‘Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Athanasius’, a gorgeous cultural and religious centre for Canada’s Coptic Orthodox community. And to top everything off, a plethora of beautiful scenic sights at ‘The Riverwood Conservancy’ concluding thereafter with an unforgettable wedding reception and celebration set in the ever comfy and highly-regarded ‘Roma’s Hospitality Centre’, Mississauga. With so many stunning sceneries and settings, our videographers and cinematographers had plenty of matrimonial movie-making material to work with, particularly for the Same-Day-Edit our videographers had especially crafted for filming at the highlight of Monica & George’s evening festivities. Filming Monica & George’s wedding was also quite interesting videography-wise, as our videographers had ventured in trying out some new and creative ideas for their filming process, some parts of which you can preview in the Same Day Edit Video below. Scroll further as well to learn more about our experience with Monica & George, and this remarkable couples’ remarkable wedding day.
