Rather seldom does SDE Weddings‘ photobooth staff travel to the frontiers beyond the comfortable confines of our familiar Toronto landscape, but Lien and Stanley’s wedding celebration at Lincoln Ontario’s Ball’s Falls Conservation Area just west of St. Catherines beckoned us 104 kilometres and 2 hours of travel away from our comfort zone, and what a unique experience it was! The pastoral charm of a wedding feast along the wide and open countryside is something rare for our city-dwelling videographers, cinematographers and photobooth staff to take in, but beyond the novelty of it was something simply wonderful. The wedding itself, quite apt to a setting beyond the beaten path, took on a rather ‘DIY’ atmosphere, with Lien exquisitely crafting and arranging the chandelier, lighting, decorations and overall design of her own wedding celebration. Undoubtedly an impressive feat to say the least. Our photobooth staff too had a chance to shine creatively with custom designed photostrips fashioned in the form of a film reel. Apart from that, the many smiling scenes of Lien and Stanley’s family and friends was what truly made the evening shine for everyone.
