Mohit & Sonia Toronto Hindu Wedding Video at Château Le Jardin

It’s not often that one comes across a ‘perfect’ couple, in ordinary circumstances anyway. That’s why we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography group, feel almost blessed that we’ve witnessed plenty of ‘perfect’ couples pass through one of life’s largest landmarks, that of their wedding day. Such is why we felt more than blessed to work with Sonia & Mohit on their wedding celebration, that lasted not just one day, but an entire three-day weekend ordeal just a few weeks ago from December 4th, and the weekend of December 6th, 2014 which had a ‘sangeet’ party set at Mississauga’s Verdi Banquet Hall for the first day, and an impressive wedding-weekend spent at the ‘Renaissance Hall’ of Woodbridge’s Château Le Jardin. An extraordinary couple to say the least, our videographers and cinematographers had followed the two throughout their weekend-wedding, and had prepared a Next-Day-Edit to showcase for the final day of their wedding. Turns out, Mohit had something up his sleeve to keep our own film-makers on their toes for the final day. Joanne and Shaun Chinese Wedding Photobooth at Chateau Le Jardin

It’s never an inopportune time to get your creative juices flowing, as we surely soon found out during our photobooth service at Joanne and Shaun’s lovely wedding ceremony and celebration just this past October 12th, 2014 at Woodbridge’s luxurious Chateau Le Jardin Conference & Event Venue. Joanne, being a connoisseur of craftiness and creativity, had fashioned some unique guest and scrapbooks specially made for our photobooth printouts. A well commended added touch! Interestingly enough, Joanne had initially met us with our work with Tommy & Kathleen on their wedding just last November, and was undoubtedly enamoured with the idea of having a photobooth experience for her very own wedding, and had us booked alongside their friends David and Adriana, who’s wedding we had worked on just this past August. Funny how these social networks work, huh. And in another case of deja-vu (a repeating theme for our photobooth staff it seems), we met Tommy and Kathleen again during Joanne and Shaun’s wedding reception, and were happily expecting a baby girl. How wonderful! All in all, with a custom-designed photobooth printout design, and a much appreciated added boost from Joanne’s artistic efforts, the photobooth for Joanne and Shaun’s wedding was a smashing success. Toronto Sikh + Italian Wedding Videos Next Day Edit

A central tenant that solidifies our beliefs and passion for our work here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography specialists, is the simple reality of the power of love to transcend the boundaries between people. That’s why our videographers and cinematographers are always and ever smitten whenever filming and working with multi-ethnic and multi-religious couples in helping them forge the unforgettable memories of their wedding day. One particularly recent wedding we helped film was that of Amanda and Ricky, a couple from Woodbridge and Brampton respectively. Ricky, a South-Asian Sikh, and Amanda, an Italian Catholic, make for an interesting pairing, to say the least. Coming from mutually disparate worlds and jointly distinct traditions, their eventual union is but a testament to Toronto’s inclusive cultural climate, one of which our native Torontonian videographers and cinematographers can truly appreciate in its vibrance and diversity. The beloved couple had decided to host separate ceremonies attesting to both their faiths and traditions, a Sikh wedding on August 30th 2014 at the famous Ontario Khalsa Darbar in Mississauga, and following that a Catholic ceremony on September 6th, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Woodbridge. Not unlike the many multicultural marriages we’ve worked with, Amanda and Ricky’s wedding tale was a heartwarming one. With our videographers and cinematographers putting their all into capturing their wedding day memories, and a Next-Day-Edit specially made for the couples’ reception, Amanda and Ricky’s wedding made for a truly unforgettable experience.

Toronto Vietnamese Wedding Videographer + Cinematographer | Mylai + Si | Chateau Le Jardin

For Mylai and Si, a young Vietnamese couple hailing from Toronto, having their wedding at this crossroad of life was a simple step forwards for the two of them. With the both having burgeoning careers in healthcare, alongside Si pursuing his masters degree, there was no better time than now to consolidate their relationship and prepare for the future together. That’s why for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography company, believe that both love and passion can manifest itself fully in both career and craft, a view that’s in no small part echoed by Mylai and Si in their own lives as young professionals. The beloved couples’ special day took place on May 18th, 2014 at the stunningly gallant Sheraton Hotel Hamilton, just a stone’s throw away from Toronto, and as for the reception, featured the Victorian Room at Chateau Le Jardin Event Venue in Woodbridge. Our videographers’ work with the couple begins with the ever essential makeup and prep process for Mylai and her bridesmaids, all taking place in Sheraton Hotel Hamilton at the literal crack of dawn. Mylai’s choice of wardrobe for the day would fluctuate between a slimming and stately one-piece wedding gown and a crimson red Ao Dai, a traditional Vietnamese silk tunic. Likewise for Si, a very formal suit would stand in contrast to the traditional garb of the Ao Gam brocade tunic. In many ways, this choice is reflective of Mylai and Si, both cognizant of their heritage, yet well adapted to their lives in a vibrant and multicultural Canada.To accent further the traditional theme pervasive during the morning’s preparations, Mylai and Si would have a tea ceremony with friends and family at Si’s house, as an interlude between the morning and the rest of the day’s events.

Wedding Video Toronto | Mike + Harshini | Le Jardin

We at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography group, are ever enchanted by stories of fate and fulfilment, and the story of Mike and Harshini’s serendipitous journey from friendship to the wedding aisle leaves us content in capturing these touching tales of life’s most precious moments. The notion of a “self-fulfilling prophecy” is one which we’re all accustomed to, especially in this day and age where family, friends, career and entertainment are electronically intertwined, and personal goals are as easy to plan as a push of a button. Still, in this ever-growing era of information, one thing that remains constant is the importance of relationships, whether it be friends, loved ones, or perhaps the one you’ll one day call your husband or wife. That’s why it’s no surprise that the “self-fulfilling prophecy” Mike had made when he first met Harshini eventually became reality. As Harshini initially scoffed at the idea of the two being anything more than friends, Mike’s initial instincts many years ago would soon come to fruition, and the couple would find themselves engaged for two whole years till their fateful day of April 28th, 2014. In an exquisite ceremony and reception in Toronto’s Islington United Church and Chateau Le Jardin Convention Centre respectively, the beloved couple were wed to the resounding applause from countless loved ones who gathered to see a prophecy be fulfilled.

Toronto Filipino Wedding Videographer at Le Jardin

We were invited to film at Julius & Mona Liza’s wedding on Saturday, August 16th, 2013. The day began with Julius & Mona Liza getting ready in the Element Hotel located at 6170 Hwy 7, Vaughn, Ontario.

After all of the wedding preparations were finished, Julius & Mona Liza had their separate photography sessions with their groomsmen and bridesmaids. At around 4PM, we traveled to Le Jardin Conference & Event Centre located at 8440 York 27, Woodbridge for the wedding ceremony and reception. The ceremony started on time at 5:30PM and the reception started at around 8PM in the evening.
