For us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photo-booth group, the perfect smile, the perfect moment, captured perfectly for a perfect couple is the most our videographers and cinematographers strive for in our work. And in this wonderful winter season, nothing can dispel the briskness of Canada’s famous winter cold better than the warmth of a perfect love brought together for a beautiful winter-season wedding day. Such is how our videographers and cinematographers recall the magnificent and magical time we had working with Ying & Darryl on their breathtakingly perfect winter-season wedding day just earlier this year on January 13th, 2018, with a magical wedding day ceremony, reception, and celebration held at the beautiful Bellvue Manor in Vaughan, and early morning preparations and traditional ceremonies held at the ever-gorgeous Adelaide Hotel Toronto, site of the former Trump Hotel. A lovely Chinese couple, Ying & Darryl showcased on their wedding day their shared Chinese heritage in a solemn and traditional tea ceremony, a favourite scene for our videographers and cinematographers. So warm yourselves up and join us as we recall some of our most cherished and prized memories from our videographers and cinematographers in capturing Ying & Darryl’s truly wonderful winter-season wedding day. Alongside a showcase of our videographers and cinematographers’ favourite scenes from the couple’s special day, and a specially made preview of the unforgettable wedding celebration in our included namesake same-day-edit highlight reel.
For us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth rental group, the start of a brand new year is always the most tumultuous, uncertain yet exciting time. With new horizons ahead and a fresh new start, the beginning of a new year is the best time as ever to create new plans, explore new things and look forward to the future. So when we worked with Jayran & Simon on their early-season wedding day just this past January 23rd, 2016, we knew from the start that such a spirited young couple would have nothing but the brightest of futures to look forward to. With a beautiful Orthodox Christian wedding ceremony at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Richmond Hill – just north of Toronto – and a likewise wonderful wedding celebration held at The Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre in Vaughan, an eager couple starting their lives anew through wedding vows couldn’t ask for anything better! Jayran & Simon’s wedding was special for our videographers and cinematographers as well. Apart from an opportunity to shoot beautiful snowy scenes during the peak of Canada’s characteristically cold winters, our videographers and cinematographers had taken the opportunity to make clever and creative use of SDE Weddings’ very own drone cameras to film gorgeously breathtaking panoramic scenes as we trailed Jayran & Simon throughout their winter Armenian wedding day. So scroll further to learn more about Jayran & Simon, their wonderful Armenian wedding in a winter wonderland, and take a peak at our highlight footage from chilling heights!

Do you wanna build a snowman? It doesn’t have to be a snowman. It could be…a wedding! That’s right, we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo booth group, kept ourselves toasty this winter by filming a fantastically ‘frosty’ film for Voula & Jessie, a Greek couple who held their winter wedding just this past January 24th, 2015 at the St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church with an evening’s reception at among one of our favorite venues to work at, “The Manor” byPeterandPauls, offering plenty of beautiful winter-wedding shots on the massive frozen river facing their outdoor facilities. As expected, our videographers and cinematographers had a wonderful time working with the couple, and captured many magical moments from their day, making a matrimonial medley in a Same-Day-Edit featured at their evening’s reception. A chilly change of pace for our warm-blooded videographers and cinematographers, winter weddings are fairly rare for us to film. So it was a delight for us to have such a fun experience in filming for the beloved couple on a cozy January weekend. Scroll further to learn more about Voula & Jessie on their wondrous winter wedding day and view the Same-Day-Edit highlight reel we crafted specially for them, guaranteed give you the shivers!
Fate has conspired once again. For those out there that are avid readers of our blog, you might remember a lovely couple by the names of Dianne & Anthony, who came to us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, for filming of both an engagement highlight film and for their full-fledged wedding. That was quite a few months ago in October. Well, ever anxious as we are here, we finally caught up with Dianne & Anthony again on the day which culminated their journey together thus far, the monumental wedding day, taking place just this past January 10th, 2015. With a new year, a new start and a new life ahead of them, Dianne & Anthony were ever excited just as how our videographers and cinematographers met them at first; eager to pave new paths in their lives together. And we here at SDE Weddings were utmost proud in helping the all-too-spirited couple in capturing and commemorating such a momentous day in their lives. With a complete Catholic wedding ceremony at Mississauga’s Cristo Rei Parish, an evening to start a lifetime with at Mississauga’s Apollo Convention Centre, our videographers and cinematographers capturing every sentimental moment, and our namesake Same-Day-Edit played for them to close the night, Dianne & Anthony couldn’t ask for anything more perfect. Keep your cursors scrolled to learn more about Dianne & Anthony, their unforgettable wedding day, and how our videographers and cinematographers helped to make their matrimonial magic last a lifetime.
DECA, the largest international association for business, marketing and management students, was among our most frequent clients over the years, and when they requested our help for setting up a recreational photobooth for the DECA U 2014 provincial conferences on January 17th, SDE Weddings’s Toronto photobooth staff were quick to the draw in delivering premiere rental photobooth service for the enjoyment of the many DECA U students in attendance, nearly over twelve hundred in all! This particular conference was a special one for DECA, as it was also their 10th year anniversary, and what better a way to remember such a momentous occasion than with a few quick photos with your schoolmate friends, embarrassing poses optional. SDE Weddings usually has one or two videographers and video cinematographers to handle a photobooth job, and with over a thousand students in attendance, the work our crew had on hand was not a simple point-and-click job to say the least. As expected however, our photobooth service was an instant success with the students, giving them a moment to breathe, and even laugh, outside the ultra-competitive atmosphere of training for their futures in the business world. Take a glimpse into the funny-side of Canada’s future leaders with some sample shots below.
