The glistening frostings of freshly melted snow, an atmosphere of serenity and a moment of seclusion wrapped within an opportune time, on a magical day in the midst of Canada’s famously frigid winter season. Such is how we felt here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, when we worked on Lorrene & Darvy’s beautiful winter season wedding just this past December 29th, 2016 – only a few days shy of Christmas, during the serendipitous period between the Christmas season and New Year’s Eve. And for Lorrene & Darvy, their wedding day would be a truly magical memory in and of itself; with preparations and early celebrations taking place at the Delta Hotels in Scarborough, a very personal wedding ceremony at Scarborough’s St. Maria Goretti Parish, and finishing off fantastically in Toronto’s Fantasy Farm, a beautiful getaway location deep in the heartlands of Toronto’s famous Don Valley, and a perfect locale for some excellent scenes for our videographers and cinematographers to work with. We also had the opportunity to bring our photo booth to the reception to entertain Lorrene & Darvy’s guest.
On Saturday, October 10th, 2015, under the clear blue skies and warm embrace of nature’s beauty, Karen and Sunny exchanged their promised vows at the gorgeous Fantasy Farm, a venue known as a hidden gem in Toronto. With its romantic atmosphere and lively crowd, our photo booth staff at SDEWeddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo booth company, had an enjoyable time capturing the priceless moments of Karen and Sunny’s special Chinese Wedding celebration. It was only this past weekend that a match made in heaven came true, and no, we’re not talking about the World Cup grand finals. Angela and Fontaine, a young couple from Toronto, finally made the first step towards their goals, and sealed their futures in a wedding fit for the ages. To celebrate, what better way to kick it off than a plentifully fun photobooth care of us here at SDE Weddings! Our photobooth experts, apart from their work in videography and cinematography, were ecstatic to lend a hand to Angela and Fontaine during their wedding day reception services this past Sunday, July 13, 2014. With a familiar setting for us at Toronto’s Fantasy Farm banquet hall, our work was made even more fun with the newlywed couple craftily contributing their own custom props and board for their specially made photobooth design. In addition, Angela and Fontaine advertised far and wide to their guests about their custom photobooth once prepared, and made sure that all their wedding day well-wishers left their own little messages for the couple in a guestbook after each set of photos. A brilliant idea to engage the wedding day crowd! As you can see in the following preview pictures, there were more than plenty guffaws and grimaces to be had than you’ll see after a winning goal with Angela and Fontaine’s guests. Feel free to peruse some of the more outlandish and outrageous of our shots below.

In and amongst a figurative oasis far removed from the desert of the city, us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and cinematography company, were proud to play a part and be witness to the wedding of Ellie and Justin, whose special day drew plentiful edifying parallels to the history and continuity of the Jewish people. In a modern Jewish Wedding renewal ceremony set in the urban oasis of Fantasy Farm Banquet Hall & Event Centre alongside Toronto’s landmark Don River and Don Valley, Ellie and Justin were wed on April 13th 2014, only a day before Passover, the Hebrew ‘Pesach’, a day which remembers the fight and flight of Moses and the Israelites from the hands of the Pharaoh well over three thousand years ago. It is hence a testament to the power and aura of the Jewish peoples’ spirit, burning ever brightly like a solemn candle in torrential winds, that Ellie and Justin’s story is but a kindling fire born from that same spirit which has persisted for these many a millennia. Akin to Judaism in midst of modernity, Ellie and Justin’s ceremony is both a celebration of life and faith for the Jewish people, but also an acknowledgement of the power of life and faith to overcome adversity in the world. A touching message which our videographers and cinematographers had hoped to fully capture in our work throughout the day.
