There’s something deeply magical and beautiful in every wedding day, and for us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and photo booth rental company, it’s an absolute pleasure for our videographers to capture these magical and beautiful memories in full. From the first few moments of the morning’s preparations, to the exhilarating ending to a long evening’s celebrations, our videographers find passion in a couple’s passion; love in a newlywed’s love, happiness in two lives happily made one. So for our video team, the story of Lorraine & Tim held on a wondrous winter wedding day on February 17th, 2018 was an absolute delight to film through the lenses of our videographers. A young and inspiring couple from Toronto who met as volunteers at Toronto’s Sanctuary Ministries, found a common calling in their faith and devotion towards others, and indeed, devotion to one another. Hosting their wonderful wedding day ceremony at Toronto’s beautiful Metropolitan United Church, and their evening’s reception at the ever-elegant 1871 Berkeley Church, Lorraine & Tim’s faith and love on their very special day would be a true gift for them, bringing the two together on such a special day in their lives. So follow us as we remember the many special scenes and magical memories captured by our filmmakers on Lorraine & Tim’s faithful wedding day, and be amazed at how a story of faith, hope, charity, and love can blossom beautifully on a wondrous winter’s day.
The ‘gift of giving’, as some would say, is the greatest gift of all. The act of love, of being in love, of loving one another, for one, fits this paradigm perfectly. And to have such a treasured gift be given to you in return is one of the most fulfilling experiences one can have. Such is exactly how we felt here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, about our work with Jonathan & Katrina, who held their wedding earlier this year on March 14th 2015 in a beautiful ceremony at Mississauga’s Merciful Redeemer Parish and an unforgettable reception at Toronto’s ever gorgeous Claireport Place Banquet & Convention Centre. Indeed, with a gift to the couple of our tried-and-true ‘Same-Day-Edit‘ and highlight reel specially prepared by our videographers and cinematographers for their special day, the elated newlyweds Jonathan & Katrina couldn’t help but share several kind words about our namesake service below! Scroll further to learn more about Jonathan & Katrina, their wonderful once-in-a-lifetime wedding day, and a sneak-peek at what such a red-letter day entailed in our videographers and cinematographers’ acclaimed ‘Same-Day-Edit’ highlight reel below.

We at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography and video cinematography group, were ecstatic to be a part of Matt and Joanne’s special day together, and were drawn especially to the couples’ exceedingly sincere devotion to one another, both as self-declared ‘best friends’ and star-crossed lovers. “You make me dream while my eyes are open”, were words that stand out to us from Matt’s speech to the crowd of jubilant faces which gathered on the auspicious evening of his wedding day. Sentimental sentences which speak of a lifetime’s love were ever present during the wedding celebration of Matt and Joanna, which took place earlier this month on April 5th, 2014 in the 1871 Berkeley Church on Queen St., an aptly historic scene for an unforgettable union of two souls bound as one. Matt and Joanne met serendipitously in a setting fit for romantic cinema on the dancing floor. Little did he know that this very same stranger would glance at him again many years later, on centre stage in front of friends and family, to declare an undying love and a life made anew. Very seldom does one come across a couple whose vibrant energy and chemistry together is enough to fill a room with smiles from ear to ear, and for our videographers, Matt and Joanne’s wedding day would be be one filled with bountiful smiles, laughter and happiness throughout the evening.
The 1871 Berkeley Church is one of SDE Weddings’ all-time favourite wedding settings for videography and cinematography in Toronto’s downtown, and one particular wedding that drew us in and made us fall in love with the quaint intimacy of the oft-eschewed ‘small scale’ wedding celebration was that of Michelle and Robert, a couple who were wed on November 2nd, 2013. Michelle and Roberts’ vows to one another were enough to warm even the coldest of autumn days, and made for a fantastic wedding reception and celebration to capture on film.
Last year, we were very excited and happy to film Joe & Karen’s wedding at the Berkeley Church in Toronto. The day started for our team of wedding videographers with Karen getting ready at her parent’s house in Scarborough and Joe getting ready at his house in Richmond Hill. After Joe finished getting ready, he traveled with his groomsman to Karen’s house. Upon their arrival, Joe and his groomsman had to complete a series of challenges and tasks set by the bridesmaid before they can enter the house.
In the wedding highlight video that we posted below, you can actually see Joe’s real reaction as he sees his Bride for the first time. You can tell by the look on his face that Joe was very stunned by how gorgeous Karen looked in her beautiful white wedding dress.
