Such was our exact impression here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, when working with Stephanie & Scott for their unforgettable wedding day ceremony and celebration. The fateful day for the perfect pair took place on August 30th, 2014, in a humble private ceremony at Stephanie’s home in Burlington and an all-out extravagant reception at Mississauga’s historic Glenerin Inn. Stephanie, herself a photographer, exuded a picture-perfect radiance of positivity throughout the day, of whose vivacity could only be matched by her beloved husband, Scott, whose fiery wit had kept many of their guests – and our videographers and cinematographers – entertained all evening. Clearly a couple who value the brighter side of life, Stephanie & Scott hardly hesitated to capitalize on having our very own photobooth setup ready and set for their evening’s celebration. Stephanie & Scott’s letter exchange on the morning of their wedding day says a lot about how this ‘dynamic duo’ of sorts interact. Cracking a couple of risqué jokes and dry humour, one can appreciate just how genuine the love between the two truly is. Indeed, having our videographers and cinematographers feature this playful interaction of letters in our highlight reel is enough to say plenty about Stephanie & Scott and the bond that brought them to this day. Apart from that, Stephanie had kept a miniature card-sized piece of a chalkboard to count down the days till the wedding, which our videographers and cinematographers had spotted and featured in the full-length film. An interesting idea for those planning their own wedding day! Indeed, Stephanie & Scott’s wedding stood out for us in particular through how many interesting and novel ideas were used, some of which we’ll reveal later on as the wedding day unfolds.

The bride and groom to be had chosen a very special location for their ceremony; Stephanie’s own backyard all the ways away in Burlington. And it couldn’t have been a better day for Stephanie & Scott, who were wed in a picturesque ceremony under a bright and spotless summer sky. The weather truly made filming all the more better for our videographers and cinematographers, whose work you can preview in the included highlight reel. At the tail’s end of the ceremony Stephanie & Scott’s ‘friendship’ as a couple was truly ‘illuminated’ through the ritual candle-lighting; as Stephanie & Scott had jointly lit their candle, symbolizing the union of two families as one, the pair gave each other a surprising hi-five! One of our videographers’ and cinematographers’ favourite moments, which we featured in the full-length film.

Once the pageantry was over, Stephanie & Scott now had their time to shine. Hosting their exclusive wedding reception and celebration at the homely and historic Glenerin Inn, the newlyweds had encouraged their guests to tag all their pictures from the day on instagram with the couples’ very own hashtag, yet again another novel wedding idea! Once all the guests had settled, Stephanie & Scott had made their explosive entrance, with a score of hi-fives given all around, making for a perfect moment captured by our videographers and cinematographers. Yet, to top it all off, Stephanie & Scott’s cake-cutting again echoed the couples’ fun-loving energy; with the newlyweds bursting out in a cake-fight, and Scott covered in icing! Truly, Stephanie & Scott’s liveliness was contagious; with their numerous guests having a barrel of laughs with our photobooth setup. All in all, Stephanie & Scott truly exceeded our expectations in just how fun, loving, and fun-loving a couple could be, especially on their wedding day.
