The autumn season is the perfect time of the year for turning over a new leaf. With the changing colours of the autumn leaves and the cooling summer wind giving way to the briskness of fall, the autumn season brings with it some of the coziest atmospheres for couples to hold their wedding day, and some of the most impressive wedding day videography and cinematography of the year. That’s why for us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photo-booth group, the autumn season wedding of Nicki & Andrew was an absolute delight to film, and its highlight reel and wedding film and utmost pleasure to produce. Nicki & Andrew held their truly breathtaking autumn season wedding day on September 24th, 2016 just last year in a rustic themed wedding arrangement – ceremony and celebration in full – held at The Gambrel Barn and Country Heritage Park in Milton, a first foray for our videographers and cinematographers to this exquisite countryside venue. And what a delight it was! The rustic theme of the wedding coupled with the autumn season’s scenery amidst the impressive Ontario countryside created a truly sentimental and heartwarming atmosphere from start to finish for Nicki & Andrew’s wedding day. So join us as we recall some of our most treasured memories from Nicki & Andrew’s truly special day, and have a look at one of our videographers and cinematographers’ most favoured autumn season weddings.
Here is the wedding highlight video that we made for Nicki & Andrew’s wedding at the Milton Gambrel Barn and Country Heritage Park.
Work on Nicki & Andrew’s awe-inspiring autumn wedding began for our videographers and cinematographers with a morning’s visit to the bride & groom; at the Milton Best Western hotel to greet the newlyweds-to-be as they make their first strides to a beautiful future together. Perhaps our favorite scene from the day would have to be the morning’s first meeting for Nicki & Andrew, taking place on the grounds of Milton’s The Gambrel Barn on the Country Heritage Park. In a beautiful rustic setting, down a beaten path surrounded by the picturesque Ontario countryside, Andrew would await for his bride to be at an old Ford Motors gas stop while Nicki arrived gallantly in a pure white vintage panel van. Seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day and sharing a kiss, this moment was truly special for Nicki & Andrew, and was a true delight for our videographers and cinematographers to capture in full. Here is another wedding video we made at Milton Ontario.
For their wedding ceremony, Nicki & Andrew chose an absolutely magnificent space; that of The Gambrel Barn itself. Sincerely speaking to the rustic theme of the wedding day, the wooden walls and subdued natural lighting of the barn created a surreal experience beyond words for our videographers and cinematographers to film. With the barn packed from front to back with Nicki & Andrew’s closest friends and relatives, the pair gave their solemn vows and shared with each other another special kiss captured and immortalized in film by our videographers and cinematographers; sealing the deal on the wedding day and a beautiful future together.
And with the day’s deed done perfectly, the happily married newlyweds Nicki & Andrew welcomed their first day as husband and wife together in an absolutely unforgettable celebration at the Gambrel Barn. Reshaping the space for the evening’s celebrations would be a magical transformation. Illuminated by a brilliant array of lights suspended on top the barn’s rustic wooden ceiling, the wedding celebration’s setup would verily fit the part in Nicki & Andrew’s rustic style to a tee. With custom-made stationeries, a gorgeous front gallery as seating space for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, a live-band and a beautifully crafted wedding cake, Nicki & Andrew’s celebration was an absolutely wonderful experience in an elegantly fashioned rustic setting. For one of our videographers and cinematographers’ favorite scenes, Nicki’s dance with her father underneath the bright lights would be a special moment for a genuinely special day. And as the night grew long, Nicki & Andrew had truly ushered in their new lives together in perfect style.
And with that, we here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, would like to wish Nicki & Andrew all the very best in their newfound lives and future together. We want to thank the newlywed couple for giving us the opportunity of filming, producing, crafting and creating a beautiful film of their wedding day, which our videographers and cinematographers hope would remain a sentimental token for the two for the rest of their lives. We hope that with an unforgettable autumn season wedding complete, that the turning of a new leaf for Nicki & Andrew would be the start of a beautiful story.
