Kristi & Matt, two avid golfers, had been vacationing in Arizona; visiting the Johnson Ranch golf course, Matt surprised his bride-to-be with a swing and a hit. Atop a mountain overlooking Arizona’s San Tan Valley, Matt feigned a tee-off, knelt down and proposed to Kristi. With an unforgettable memory that sealed the deal as Kristi said “yes!” to the extravagant proposal, the couple would find their way back home here in Canada, in a wonderful wedding day held at a specially chosen location by the two golfers, a premier golfing location in northern Ontario, and a new destination for our videographers and cinematographers, Idylwylde Golf & Country Club in Sudbury, a breathtaking northern Ontario golf course overlooking multiple lakes, secluded islands and pristine wilderness. A truly special wedding to work on for our videographers and cinematographers, the remarkable scenery made for perfect aerial drone shots, and made for excellent clips for the wedding day’s same-day-edit, staying true to our company’s namesake. Our work with Kristi & Matt on their truly special wedding day began with a tumultuous treck up north for our videographers and cinematographers from Toronto to Sudbury, visiting Kristi, the bride-to-be, at her Sudbury home as she prepared for the unforgettable day ahead. With a beautiful spotless summer sky, our videographers and cinematographers looked forward to taking many excellent scenic shots of the beautiful northern Ontario landscape through our aerial lenses. In our included same-day-edit, Kristi is featured tearfully reading a love letter from her betrothed on the morning of their marriage ceremony. An always-favourite scene of our videographers and cinematographers is the bride’s preparations and reveal to her husband-to-be. And with Kristi & Matt’s magnetic personalities, the couple’s energy on their wedding day couldn’t help but shine through our lenses, making for many heartwarming scenes captured and immortalized on film. Other favorites from our videographers and cinematographers include a golf-cart tour of the golf course and a preview of the wedding grounds where Kristi & Matt held their ceremony. Coupled with immaculate aerial footage of the surrounding lakes and cottages on the outskirts of the Idylwylde Golf & Country Club, our videographers and cinematographers couldn’t have been more pleased with such excellent footage for a perfect wedding day.

For the wedding ceremony, Kristi & Matt held a private outdoor gathering on the beautiful greens just by Idylwylde’s surrounding lake. Rolling up on golf carts themselves, the bride & groom’s entourage would witness an unforgettable walk down the aisle for Kristi, greeted by a teary-eyed Matt at the altar. And with a few sentimental words shared, the wedding ceremony would be a birdie for the bride and groom, and an eagle for everyone in the crowd. With wide-eyed applause, Kristi & Matt became husband and wife to a truly championship reception, and made for an impeccable scene for our videographers and cinematographers.

With a perfect putt on the green for their wedding ceremony, Kristi & Matt took the liberty of enjoying themselves with their bridesmaids and groomsmen in a photo and video session on the beautiful Idylwylde Golf & Country Club grounds. With our videographers and cinematographers’ cameras rolling, our film features the bridesmaids and groomsmen on their happiest of days. With a bright summer sun above them and not a cloud in the sky, it would be perfect scene after perfect scene with Kristi & Matt. And so too would it be with the newlyweds as they made their final tee-off at their evening’s wedding reception held at Idylwylde’s exclusive clubhouse estate. A truly special scene crafted by our videographers and cinematographers, and one which you can preview in the same-day-edit, is the blending of two special scenes with Kristi & Matt; the newlywed couple’s grand entrance as they dance their way into the banquet hall, and the startling contrast of an unbelievable aerial shot of the couple atop a rugged ridge overlooking Idylwylde’s surrounding lake, making the same pirouette dance. A truly beautiful blending of two perfect scenes to create something incredible for Kristi & Matt. And with an evening’s celebration in full bloom, and our same-day-edit a roaring success, Kristi & Matt ended a truly magical wedding day with a late-night bonfire to draw a close to a beautiful day.
