Cantonese Wedding at Berkeley Church in Toronto
Last year, we were very excited and happy to film Joe & Karen’s wedding at the Berkeley Church in Toronto. The day started for our team of wedding videographers with Karen getting ready at her parent’s house in Scarborough and Joe getting ready at his house in Richmond Hill. After Joe finished getting ready, he traveled with his groomsman to Karen’s house. Upon their arrival, Joe and his groomsman had to complete a series of challenges and tasks set by the bridesmaid before they can enter the house.
In the wedding highlight video that we posted below, you can actually see Joe’s real reaction as he sees his Bride for the first time. You can tell by the look on his face that Joe was very stunned by how gorgeous Karen looked in her beautiful white wedding dress.
After the first look, Karen changed back into her Chinese red wedding dress for the traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony. The wedding tea ceremony took place in Karen’s backyard and it lasted about 30 minutes. When the tea ceremony was over, Karen changed backed into her western wedding dress and everyone began to travel to the Berkeley Church for some pre-wedding ceremony pictures.
The actually wedding ceremony started at 4PM in the afternoon, followed by cocktail hours. During the reception, there were speeches from the parents, maid of honor, best man, the Bride and the Groom. The wedding MC also hosted different wedding games to keep the guests entertained.
What we really liked about filming Joe & Karen’s wedding at the Berkely Church in Toronto is that the venue has a second floor railing, which we used to videograph Joe & Karen’s first dance. Overall, the wedding was great, we captured a lot of happy memories & tears. Congratulations to Joe & Karen, and thanks for hiring us to film at your wedding.
