A childhood dream coming to fruition is one of the most amazing things to have happen to anyone in their lives. Waiting throughout your life for your dream to come true, only for the moment to finally come, is an unbelievable feeling. That’s why for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, not only are we aware of how unbelievable such a sentiment could be, but how significant it is to make such precious memories unforgettable. Thus we recall our work with Sara & Mark, on their – as stated – truly unforgettable wedding day, set in the summer season on a sun-soaked July 18th, 2015 with a solemn ceremony held at St. Stainslaus Kostka Polish Catholic Parish in Hamilton, and a stellar celebration afterwards at the gorgeous Winona Vine Estates. A first time venue for our videographers and cinematographers, with the wedding festivities taking place in a gorgeous getaway setting situated at the heart of the countryside, just southeast of Stony Creek. Scroll further to learn more about Sara & Mark’s wedding day dream come true, an exclusive peek at our trademark Same-Day-Edit for the newlyweds, and much more about our videographers’ and cinematographers’ favorite scenes from Sara & Mark’s very special day.

For the culmination of eight long years of a relationship which had grown steadily and had blossomed beautifully into what it is today, such a pivotal day’s morning begins our task here at SDE Weddings; for our videographers and cinematographers to find the best and most beautiful scenes to capture. Indeed, scenes which truly attest to Sara & Mark’s love for one another, and the bountiful gifts of the growth of love between the two. Beginning with a sentimental reading of love letters, Sara & Mark bear their hearts’ bare to one another through a beautiful exchange of words. Caught on camera by our videographers and cinematographers, we learn of Sara’s childhood dream – of her own wedding to her very own ‘prince charming’. Suffice to say, we couldn’t help but feel a bit teary-eyed ourselves for Sara & Mark. To quote, “when I see you at the end of the aisle today, my ‘happily ever after’ will finally come true.”

And that it did, and what a magnificent moment it was. Underneath the unbelievably intricate interior of St. Stainslaus Kostka Polish Catholic Parish, Sara & Mark were finally wed to an overjoyed crowd of family and friends. A moment which was truly beyond words, so let our highlight reel tell it all. In particular, it gave our videographers and cinematographers a chance to try out a time-lapse on the church’s exterior before the big moment. From there, the happily newlywed newlyweds made their way to a historic Hamilton site, the Dundurn Castle, which overlooked Lake Ontario. Along with several extra shots with the bridesmaids and groomsmen in apt celebration, we had also included Sara & Mark’s scenic walk in Dundurn Castle’s lakeside park. A beautiful scene in transition to the night of celebration to come.

For an end to their unforgettable wedding day, Sara & Mark chose a first for our videographers and cinematographers, setting their celebration at the Winona Vine Estates in the countryside by Stoney Creek proper. And from the moment Sara & Mark made their extravagant entrance, to our very own Same-Day-Edit completed and screened to the delight of their family and friends, it was an absolutely remarkable experience to say the least. In particular, our videographers and cinematographers had chosen their most favoured scene in Sara & Mark’s first dance – an enchanting moment caught in full. And in the end, we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, always seem to find ourselves ever enchanted by each and every wedding we cover. We thank Sara & Mark for choosing our services for their unforgettable wedding day, and wish that, as Sara’s dream had fully wished for, that the dearly beloved will live their days “happily ever after.”
