A young entrepreneurial couple from Toronto, with Krystle as a full-time blogger and social media mover and Alex an IT specialist, the stars of the show would choose Toronto’s beautiful Design Exchange as their centre stage, a gorgeous museum dedicated to the pillars of design and style. Including an interlude at Toronto’s Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens for the first look and photo-session, and a lovely evening’s celebration held at the Design Exchange’s historic trading floor, Krystle & Alex’s wedding day would be one for the ages. So join us as we recall the many perfect memories captured and immortalized in film by our videographers and cinematographers all throughout Krystle & Alex’s beautiful wedding ceremony and celebration. Our videographers and cinematographers’ work on Krystle & Alex’s superlative summer season wedding day began with a morning’s visit to both bride & groom’s preparation sessions in downtown Toronto; with Krystle’s preparations taking place at the beautiful One King West Hotel and the groom’s prep at the bridal suite at the Design Exchange museum. A favourite scene for our videographers and cinematographers would be the bridesmaids’ toast with the bride-to-be during the preparation session, as they marked the beginning of a beautiful day, and Krystle – the beautiful bride – walking out in Toronto’s downtown core in full bridal gown and garb to make her way to her husband-to-be. With the couple’s first look taking place at the gorgeous Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, marked by a tap on the shoulder and a warm embrace, Krystle & Alex would soon make their way to Toronto’s Design Exchange museum alongside our videographers and cinematographers for their very own walk down the aisle and a wonderful future ahead.

Alex got ready at the Design Exchange.For their wedding ceremony, reception and celebration, Krystle & Alex had chosen the stunning Design Exchange museum on Bay Street, in Downtown Toronto; a magnificent museum and event space situated in what once was the site of Toronto’s historic Toronto Stock Exchange building. A first foray for our videographers and cinematographers in this gorgeous wedding space, the absolute enormity of the museum’s main hall and trading floor of the historic stock exchange made for an ultimately surreal experience to capture through our lenses. With the trading floor packed to the brim with Krystle & Alex’s loving family and friends, the budding young couple would exchange their vows in a truly sentimental memory captured in full by our videographers and cinematographers. A historic moment set in a historic Toronto landmark.

In the afternoon, we traveled to Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens for the couple’s first look & bridal party photoshoot.

And with their ultimate promises to one another set in history through the exchange of their solemn vows, the newlyweds Krystle & Alex would welcome their first moments as husband and wife with an altogether immaculate reception and celebration at the selfsame Toronto landmark, the Design Exchange museum. Our videographers and cinematographers were there to witness the metamorphosis of the museum’s grand hall and trading floor from a ceremony space to one fit for a genuine celebration and commemoration. With a gorgeously illuminated grand hall surrounded by soft satin and a hanging garden fixture suspended from the trading floor’s vast ceiling, Krystle & Alex’s reception and celebration would be magical from beginning to end. Between the newlywed husband and wife’s tremendous first dance to set the mood, a series of sentimental speeches from friends and relatives, an exciting belly dance exhibition, and an open dance floor that filled the expanse of the Design Exchange’s hall with an eclectic and altogether alluring energy, Krystle & Alex’s celebration and commemoration on their magical day was worth every single shot for our videographers and cinematographers.

After the photoshoot, we came back for the ceremony at the Design Exchange. The vibe of the ceremony was so unique and the colours at the venue were so vibrant. Alex & Krystle also wrote their personal vows, which we used when we edited their wedding highlight video.So with all that said, we here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photo-booth group, would like to wish Krystle & Alex all the very best in their lives and future together as husband and wife. We would like to thank the newlywed couple deeply for giving our videographers and cinematographers the honour of filming every special memory from their truly special day. After the ceremony, the guests were ushered upstairs for cocktails where Alex & Krystle arranged live musicians and a cotton candy station.

The decor at the reception was simply stunning; the combination of green floral arrangements and warm candles really brought an intimate feeling to the venue.

Alex & Krystle made their entrance as their guests cheered them on with glow sticks. The rest of the evening was filled with great music, plenty of dancing, and happiness for the young couple.Wedding Vendors:
