For us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, nothing makes our videographers and cinematographers happier than playing a part in the production and performance of a perfect couple’s wedding day. Seeing the culmination of the many years that a couple have had to build a life together come to the crossroads of a wedding day, and looking forward to a lifetime of beautiful memories ahead, we can’t help but feel ecstatic and excited through the many weddings we’ve worked on. So for our videographers and cinematographers, the story of Lisa & Anthony was truly a special one. A long-time couple from the small city of Camlachie, in the lovely town of Eton Court, Ontario, Lisa & Anthony held their wedding day earlier this year on a beautiful May 13th, 2017 wedding ceremony and celebration set in a heartwarming small-town setting. With a perfect ceremony at Brights Grove’s St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, just a stone’s throw away from Sarnia, and quite a trek for our videographers and cinematographers to head out west from our Toronto headquarters, Lisa & Anthony’s wedding day would be one to remember. Coupled with a spectacular reception and celebration at Sarnia’s Dante Club Hall, our hearts and minds were sincerely warmed by the many scenes we’ve helped capture of Lisa & Anthony’s monumental wedding day. So join us as we recall the many splendid scenes our videographers and cinematographers had filmed for Lisa & Anthony’s wedding day, and take a trip with us out west as we recall one of our truly memorable travels to the charming streets of Sarnia and Brights Grove for what would be an unforgettable wedding day.

The coming of the autumn season signals both the gradual end of the year and a premonition of new beginnings on the horizon. With changing leaves comes changing lives; and for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, no change is more monumental than that of an ever-eager couple’s wedding day. So for Kimberly & Philip, a couple hailing from Scarborough, a choice of fall for their wedding day season would play perfectly to the tune of change, of “turning a new leaf” and the blossoming of something beautiful to come. Thus, on a beautiful autumn day on September 30th, 2016, our videographers and cinematographers joined Kimberly & Philip as they embarked on the first step of what is hopefully a long journey to come. In a beautiful ceremony held at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church in Scarborough, a photo session at the ever-gorgeous Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, and a night of celebration at Toronto’s Parkview Manor Banquet Hall. A vibrant pair, both hailing from Mediterranean roots; of Greece, Italy and Portugal, it’s no wonder that Kimberly & Philip’s wedding was as vibrant and lively as can be. And for our videographers and cinematographers, saving a piece of this vibrancy in film would become a truly unforgettable task; and made for truly unforgettable footage. So join us as we recall our wonderful time working with Kimberly & Philip, their gorgeous autumn wedding day, and a sneak-peek at several of our videographers’ and cinematographers’ favourite scenes from the day in the highlight reel below.
The glistening frostings of freshly melted snow, an atmosphere of serenity and a moment of seclusion wrapped within an opportune time, on a magical day in the midst of Canada’s famously frigid winter season. Such is how we felt here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, when we worked on Lorrene & Darvy’s beautiful winter season wedding just this past December 29th, 2016 – only a few days shy of Christmas, during the serendipitous period between the Christmas season and New Year’s Eve. And for Lorrene & Darvy, their wedding day would be a truly magical memory in and of itself; with preparations and early celebrations taking place at the Delta Hotels in Scarborough, a very personal wedding ceremony at Scarborough’s St. Maria Goretti Parish, and finishing off fantastically in Toronto’s Fantasy Farm, a beautiful getaway location deep in the heartlands of Toronto’s famous Don Valley, and a perfect locale for some excellent scenes for our videographers and cinematographers to work with. We also had the opportunity to bring our photo booth to the reception to entertain Lorrene & Darvy’s guest.
Sometimes the best love stories are those that start the earliest. A childhood crush, a lifelong friendship, and ultimately an unbroken vow for those that are – quite literally – meant for each other. For us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, such fancifully romantic tales are the perfect stories we’ve always loved to film and feature. Such is the story of Diana & Kevin, two childhood friends from kindergarten that began dating a decade ago and have finally chosen to tie the knot just this past September 3rd, 2016 in a beautiful ceremony and reception at the University of Toronto’s historic Hart House Centre. Kevin, who’s Korean, and Diana, who’s Chinese, had chosen a cross-cultural motif for their wedding day; an homage to both heritages, and an absolute pleasure to film for our videographers and cinematographers. A truly particularly special couple to work with, our videographers and cinematographers had also went the extra mile by incorporating several scenic shots of the couple in and around the grounds of their old elementary school; a beautifully nostalgic gesture perfectly planned and placed on the couple’s wedding day. So join us as we recall our wonderful time filming for Diana & Kevin on a day that remains both nostalgic and unforgettable. What is also special about this wedding is that Diana is Rainbow Chan’s cousin. Rainbow Chan is a Toronto Wedding Planner & Coordinator that we often collaborate with, and we want to thank Rainbow Chan for referring us for her own cousin’s wedding.
For us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, nothing can make our videographers and cinematographers smile more than being part of an unforgettable experience; playing an irreplaceable part in the production of a newlywed couple’s wedding day through capturing every single beautiful moment from the earliest of morning to the twilight hours of the night. Witnessing the creation of a beautiful memory and the building of a foundation for a life and future for a loving couple, our videographers and cinematographers have always relied on these inspirational moments to be the kindling to their fire, keeping them going throughout the many years we’ve been in service. One such memorable, inspirational and beautiful tale is the story of Louisa & Victor, a wonderful Chinese couple whom our videographers and cinematographers had the utmost pleasure in working with on their fateful wedding day held on September 9th, 2016 at one of our most favorite of venues, Toronto’s luxurious and exquisite Graydon Hall Manor, one of Toronto’s few historic Gregorian manors and a truly breathtaking setting surrounded by the lush forests of Toronto’s Don Valley. The traditional and classical themes of Louisa & Victor’s wedding held on a beautiful and spotless summer day created a truly special and sentimental atmosphere for our videographers and cinematographers to work with and capture in full. So join us as we recall some of our most prized memories from Louisa & Victor’s unforgettable wedding day, and take a look at one of our videographers and cinematographers’ most memorable all-time weddings.Read More
Being part of the wedding industry has been an absolute dream come true for us here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group. Through the countless many weddings we’ve filmed throughout the many years we’ve played a part in this industry, the one true lesson always remains at the end of the day; that it is the genuine bond between people that brings the best out of all of us, and certainly none-the-least on a day as monumental and life-changing as a wedding day. So for our videographers and cinematographers, it was the highest honour we could possibly have to work on the wedding of two of our good friends in the wedding industry, Joe & Kayla, who held their wondrous wedding ceremony and celebration just this previous fall on September 17th, 2016 with a solemn ceremony at Brampton’s St. Patrick’s Church and a superlative celebration held at The Royal Ambassador Banquet Hall in Caledon, in a breathtaking countryside villa just northwest of Toronto. Joe & Kayla, as we mentioned, are our good friends in the wedding industry; with Joe as a DJ at Good Vibrations DJ Services and Kayla as a wedding planner at Bridal Solutions, both of whom we’ve worked with countless many times before on many wonderful wedding day events. Joe & Kayla had actually initially met at Good Vibrations HQ, and from there-on formed a bond that would culminate in a shared vow and a life in love together. So it’s particularly special for us to return the favour in a way, for our history of excellent wedding day collaborations with them, by providing our exemplary wedding videography and cinematography services for their very own wedding ceremony and celebration, even providing our namesake same-day-edit service as a highlight to close the couple’s excellent evening. So join us as we recall one of our most treasured and sentimental wedding day works by our videographers and cinematographers, and have a preview of Joe & Kayla’s unforgettable wedding-industry wedding.Read More
For us here at SDE Weddings®, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, a beautiful wedding day captured in film is worth every bit of effort and artistry taken to create a lasting and memorable masterpiece. For our videographers and cinematographers, it is the loving smile shared between husband and wife that makes for perfect memories, a timeless treasure to share with family and friends, and a timepiece to commemorate one of life’s most beautiful moments. And this and many more beautiful moments is what our videographers and cinematographers had aimed to perfectly capture and convey on film during one of our most splendid weddings to date, working with Setareh & Poria, a young Persian couple, on their wonderful summer wedding day just last year under a spotless sky on July 30th, 2016 in an impeccable celebration taking place in Toronto’s very own Centre Island, with a lovely reception held at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. One of the handful of times our videographers and cinematographers had filmed at Centre Island, and an absolute pleasure working at the historical Royal Canadian Yacht Club, combined with a gorgeously blue summer sky and the ebb and flow of Toronto’s famous harbourfront, Setareh & Poria’s wedding day was an altogether captivating experience from beginning to end. So join us as we revisit the many splendid wedding day scenes our videographers and cinematographers had filmed for Setareh & Poria’s unforgettable wedding day, and witness just how beautiful a summer day can be for a couple in love.
It was “once upon a time,” or rather just earlier this year, when our best and brightest here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photo-booth group, took part in an unforgettable and truly unique photo-shoot event. Creating a special little style-piece for the esteemed online wedding magazine WedLuxe, our most talented videographers were overjoyed to work alongside wedding photographer Samantha Ong and Toronto wedding planner Rainbow Chan to bring together a fairytale-themed style shoot titled “Once upon a time.” As tales as old as time, and songs as old as rhyme would have you know, fairytales fondly found from our childhood have left an unbreakable and unshakeable impression on our collective mind. That’s why it was an absolute ‘fairytale’ in itself for our videographers to play a part in the production of such a fantastical and magical piece of art, an homage to the many brilliant works of fiction which made our childhoods all the more brighter.
