A wedding is the beginning of a life long journey together with your significant other. You will go through the good times and the bad times together as one couple. It is on your wedding day that you truly understand the meaning of true love and can look back at all of the events that led up to it. Here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography, and photo booth company, we are all too familiar with understanding the meaning of true love, as we have filmed countless couples recalling the events that led up to the fateful day over the years. Michelle and Paul are no exception to the rule. The couple chose to wed on a bright and sunny day on June 5th, 2015.

This was followed by a reception the day after. It was one of the most memorable weddings we had filmed to date, and we were honoured to have been a part of this wonderful wedding. Michelle and Paul choose to have their wedding ceremony at the prestigious Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara (Sikh temple) located in Malton, Ontario. The architecture of this building was something to be marveled at, with its spacious open concept design and warm interior atmosphere.

Our Toronto wedding videographer and cinematographer started the day off filming Michelle and Paul at each one of their homes, as they both prepared earnestly for the wedding ceremony. Michelle wore a beautiful red traditional lehengas choli filled with an assortment of jewellery and topped off with a red veil. A dress more than adequate to showcase the spark and shine that Michelle was exhibiting on this grand day. Paul on the other hand, was sporting a sharp looking beige Kurta along with a traditional red sash and matching turban with threaded pearls. Family members were very keen to partake in an endless foray of photos at each couples home before the big ceremony. Both families could not have been more proud of their children on this day.

When preparations had been completed, each family and loved ones headed off to the Gurdwara. As the limousine dropped off each couple, we could see the sparkle in each of their eyes as they ascended towards the Sikh wedding temple. A huge red carpet leading up to mandap was awaiting the couple inside while drummers playing ever so passionately could be heard. After paying homage and tribute to their religion with a deep thoughtful prayer, the couple exchanged wedding rings and garlands to complete the wedding ceremony.

A wedding would not be complete without some heartwarming photos to provide you with fond memories of your big day. That’s why, the newlyweds headed off to Chinguacousy Park along with our videographer and cinematographer to shoot some unforgettable scenes at this naturally alluring location.

Back at Paul’s residence, his new wife was greeted with enthusiasm and love by her new in-laws, who were more than happy to welcome her into the family with open arms. Plenty of laughs were abound as the couple participated in a series of wedding games that invoked a sense of excitement and relaxation after a long day of preparations.

Our highlight video reel below showcased the many heartwarming scenes that our videographer and cinematographer were able to film on this eventful day. Of particular note, is the beautiful solid red backdrop overlooking the couple as they gently held hands, symbolizing the merger of their souls as one, which was quickly followed by a passionate kiss to end things off.

After much hard work and diligence, our videographer and cinematographer produced a next day edit video for the couple that was shown the very next day at the wedding reception. The video was met with applause and approval by family and friends, which left us feeling proud and overjoyed at a job well done.
