“Remember to reinvent yourself, rediscover each other, and fall in love over and over again.” This precise piece of advice is one that we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, would share all throughout the world, to every single bride and groom to be. And we couldn’t be happier that such a perfect message was said so succinctly during our work with such a perfect pair, Marco & Carolina, on their very special wedding day just this past spring on a bright and beautiful Saturday, May 9th 2015 with a ceremony and reception held at quite familiar locations for us, St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church and the ever luxurious Grand Luxe Event Boutique. Marco & Carolina, a young couple who share professions as chartered accountants, had prepared the perfect set-up for their perfect day, and with our videography, cinematography and photobooth services here at SDE Weddings, the dearly beloved duo certainly ‘accounted’ on us to catch every ideal scene, every sentimental moment, and all that could ever be memorable from their stunningly beautiful wedding day through our videographers’ and cinematographers’ lenses. And even more enterprising than it seemed, Marco & Carolina had also requested for both our premier photobooth for their after-ceremony celebration and our special name-sake service of a same-day-edit to be played as a parting gift to close such a magical day. So join us in recalling the wonderful time our videographers and cinematographers had with Marco & Carolina on their doubly-wonderful wedding day.

Here is the wedding highlight video for Marco + Carolina

An idyllic setting for our videographers and cinematographers, Marco & Carolina had fortunately lucked on a bright and beautiful spring day as their wedding day-to-be. Meeting the pair on the morning-of, Carolina had already been busy with her bridesmaids preparing hours ahead for the big moment to come. So for bride and groom both, our videographers and cinematographers made sure to capture the best shots of the few hours we had for their morning’s preparation, which you can preview in the highlight reel below. For our favorite morning scenes, Marco and his entourage of groomsmen pacing their way down the street, quite literally, on their way to St. Paschal Baylon Church. As for Carolina, an emotional moment captured of a truly proud father both tearful and happy to greet his daughter on the morning of her wedding day, a beautifully touching scene which you can preview in our highlight reel.

Come noontime, our videographers and cinematographers had made their trek to St. Paschal Baylon Church. (Here is another wedding video from St. Pascal Baylon Church.) Our second time filming at the church’s uniquely quaint and cosy interior, it was a pleasure for us to film Carolina’s long walk down the aisle to meet her future husband and a long future ahead. In our footage, we catch a candid few seconds of Marco holding back a full-fledged smile as he witnesses the walk down the aisle of his future wife. One out of many magical scenes which took place just in the ceremony alone. And indeed, of a scene we’ve filmed countless times yet always find ourselves (and our cameras) falling in love with, Marco & Carolina’s ring exchange and the truly special first-kiss to commemorate a union made complete.

With the paramount ceremony complete, the newlyweds and their entourage had made some time in between for private photos and video-taking at Toronto’s scenic Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, giving our videographers and cinematographers ample time to get creative with their shots. You can see the fruits of this creative endeavour and much more the highlight reel. Indeed, a special scene we included was a somewhat symbolic one, of Marco & Carolina crossing garden paths and meeting at the crossroads surrounded by soaring trees – particularly special in that we featured a stunning 360-shot of this scene alone. With countless fun-shots with the newlyweds and their closest friends, it was time to transition to the ever-awaited evening celebration.

Taking place at a veteran banquet locale of ours, Toronto’s Grand Luxe, Marco & Carolina had specially prepared an absolutely breathtaking setup for their truly special evening. Apart from a special photo booth setup care-of yours-truly here at SDE Weddings, the overall ambiance of the evening was simply gorgeous – a subdued dimmed ballroom, candle-light, glasses of spirits and guests in high-spirits, flowers strewn about and to top it off- a happily married couple at the height of such an unforgettable day. All in all, we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, wish Marco & Carolina the very best in their lives together, and we hope that our work with them on their special day is enough to ‘account’ for a timeless token to treasure throughout their lives.

We must say, Grand Luxe is indeed one of our favor wedding venue in Toronto. Here is a wedding video we filmed at the Grand Luxe in 2014 and here another wedding that we filmed at the venue.
