They say that ‘laughter is the best medicine’. Surely keeping your spirits up with a smile and a laugh can get you through the toughest of times. That’s exactly what we here at SDE Weddings, Toronto’s premier wedding videography, cinematography and photobooth group, felt during Ruwan & Jennifer’s wedding day photobooth just this past Saturday, November 29th in a resplendent reception set at Toronto’s ‘The Doctor’s House’ restaurant. Our photobooth service would unexpectedly be a solemn one; For the wedding, the photobooth was opened in commemoration to the memory of Jennifer’s mother, who had sadly passed away only days before. Through it all, we were honoured to help Ruwan & Jennifer commemorate and remember such a sentimental period of the couples’ lives, and honoured in full to provide a much needed moment to smile for Jennifer & Ruwan and their beloved guests. The couple had requested a purple theme for the photobooth printouts, as it was the favorite colour of Jennifer’s mother. All in all, it’s always good to keep a smile on, despite the ups and downs of life. And in this bitter-sweet moment in Ruwan & Jennifer’s life, we hope that our photobooth has helped bring a silver lining of laughter and joy to their day, and in the end, helped in building a memory that will last a lifetime.
